Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-12-320 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 AND FINAL <br />PAYMENT TO BAUERLY BROTHERS, INC. FOR CENTRAL PARK <br />PARKING LOT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on <br />April 28, 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution <br />awarding the bid to Bauerly Brothers, Inc. for the paving of Central Park's parking lot in <br />the amount of $26,259.50; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City Engineer has recommended approval of Change Order <br />No. 1 increasing the contract amount to $29,432.25 due to legitimate changes in the scope <br />of the work outlined in said Change Order; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommended final payment to Bauefly Brothers, <br />Inc. in the amount of $29,432.25 as the improvements have been completed according to <br />specifications. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes Change Order No. 1 increasing the project <br />contract amount to $29,432.25. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Bauerly Brothers, Inc. for <br />the paving of the Central Park parking lot in the amount of $29,432.25. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the <br />release form for this final payment. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this final payment is not included in resolutions approving <br />payment of the bills for the month of December 1992. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br /> <br />
