I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember ~ardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #93-03-041 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLASSIFICATION AND REQUESTING THAT <br />ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS P,.LACE FOR PUBLIC SALE <br />THE FOL~LOrWING TAX FORFEITED PROPERTY. P.I.N. 03-32-25-24-0011 <br />AND COI~I~E¥ THEE. FOLLOWING PROPERTIES TO THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />FOR PuIILIC USE. P.I.N. 22-32-25-31-0025, P.I.N. 06-32-25-23-0006 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution <br />providing attthot'ity under Chapter 282 of Minnesota Statutes for public sale of land situated in <br />Anoka County which is forfeited to the State of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes; and <br /> <br /> WH, I~REAS, the classification and sale of tax forfeit land lying within the bounds of any <br />organized tOWn with a taxable value in excess of $20,000 of an incorporated municipality must be <br />approved bY the Council of each City insofar as lands located therein are concerned; and <br /> <br /> WI{EREAS, the town board or governing body will be deemed to have approved <br />classification~sal¢ if the County Board is not notified of the disapproval of the classification sale <br />within ninel~ (90) days of the date requested for approval as transmitted to the town board or <br />governing body; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, if the town board or governing body desires to acquire any parcel lying in <br />the town or ,n~uni¢ipality by procedures authorized in Section 282.01, it shall within ninety (90) <br />days of the l'~quested classification and sale, file a written application to the County Board to <br />withhold the l~arCel from public sale for one year. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSi~Y, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey has granted preliminary plat approval of <br />Ramsey Commons 2nd Addition and recommendation for public sale of the following <br />properties will be deferred. P.I.N. 26-32-25-11-0016, P.I.N. 26-32-25-11-0017, P.I.N. <br />26-32-25-11-0018. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That Anoka County attempt to sell the property known as P.I.N. 03-32-25-24-0011 to the <br />owner of P.I.N. 03-32-25-24-0010 as it is an unbuildable lot. <br /> <br />3) That Anoka County withhold from public sale the properties known as P.I.N. 22-32-25-31- <br /> 0025 for unspecified public use and P.I.N. 06-32-25-23-0006 for use as open space and <br /> drainage. <br /> <br />4) That a aertified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anoka County. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and'it/pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor:Gilbertson <br /> CounCflm~-nber Hardin <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Court, member Beyer <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> <br />
