Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #93-04-049 <br /> <br />RESOLUTg0N AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR A TRUCK <br />AND EQUipMENT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Council's Finance Committee meeting of March 23, 1993, Staff <br />presented a ,rCAluest to advertise for bids for the purchase of a new one-ton 4 x 4 cab and chassis and <br />also a dump belly with hoist and hydra-turn plow for the Public Works Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this capital purchase would replace the City's current vehicle #609, a 1982 <br />Chevrolet K-3~}, one-ton 4 x 4 and dump body with host and hydra-turn plow; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this vehicle replacement was anticipated in the City's 1993 General Fund <br />Budget; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the new equipment specifications were presented and are attached to this <br />resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved this recommendation and hereby <br />recommends.the Ramsey City Council authorize the advertising for bids. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the advertising for bids for a new one-ton <br />4x4 oab and chassis and also a dump body with hoist and hydra-turn plow for the Public <br />Works Department. <br /> <br />The motion fOr the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hardin and upOn vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />CounCllmernber Peterson <br />Couneflmember Hardin <br />Couneilmember Beyer <br />Couneilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> <br /> <br />
