DAY up Day 1) Couneilmember, Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g93-04-063 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A BUDGET FOR THE 1993 RAMSEY CLEAN-UP WHEREAS,,Staff is requesting authorization to proceed with plans for the 1993 Ramsey Clean- scheduled fo~May 8, 1993; and WHEREAS,. Staff recommended the following budget for Clean-up Day: Landfill loads: 1600 yards @ $4.31/yard $6,896.00 B~sh chipping and drop-off at Central Park (2 person chipping ~ Crew, 16 hours @ $25/hour 400.00 Staffing at Central Park, if a volunteer cannot be found, could be ~ ~a chipping crew or an individual fi'om 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. $15/hour 90.00 Permits, Staff time for issuance, 8 hours @ $15/hour 120.00 Printing of permits 65.00 Appliance pick-up, Staff coordinating time 100.00 Total Estimated Cost: ~;7,671.00 Less estimated tire proceeds (500 @ $1) .( 500.00) Net Funding Required $7,171.00 WHEREAS,Staff further recommended the following charges to residents be made: One load of household rubbish with pemfit F.a!c~ h additional load of material (A permit is also required for each additional load) Major appliances: Air conditioners All others Olass $0rapMetal l ewn, aper Bmslt, woody prunings and limbs less than 6" diameter (At Central Park, one day only) Th'e~ s~ be dropped off at the Public Works Facility Tractor Tires No charge $20.00 per ld $25.00 $15.00 No charge No charge No charge No charge No charge $2.00 per tire $10.00 per tire AND Wl [EREAS, the Clean-up Day activities meet the requirements for expenditures from the Landfill Tippin Fe~Fund - Restricted Portion, and Staff recommends the Ramsey City Council approve funding this ew [t itl an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand One Hundred Seventy-One and No/100 Dollars ($7,171 ;00) With the Landfill Tipping Fee Fund - Restricted Portion being the source. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANO~ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows.
