Councilmerit~r I~'din introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-05-094 <br /> <br />RESOLUq~D. N,; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO SPRING RIDERS AT <br />A NOT-TO4E~EED COST OF $600 TOTAL FOR WOODLAND GREEN PARK <br /> WH~RtiAS, at the Park and Recreation Commission meeting of April, 1993, the <br />Commission ~ev{~ewed a request from a resident to install spring riders in Woodland Green Park; <br /> <br /> WFIE~REAS, the Park and Recreation Commission voted to recommend that City Council <br />approve tho~urChase of two spring riders for Woodland Green Park from the lawful gambling <br />receipts at a:mst not to exceed $600; and <br /> <br /> WIt~RE~AS, this type of purchase is consistent with the guidelines established for <br />expenditure~ from this fund; and <br /> <br /> WI~REAS, the Finance Committee reviewed this request at their meeting on May 25, <br /> 1993 and ~ended Council approval. <br />NOW TIt~!~E~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMI~Y~ ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Tha~ ~he Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of two spring riders for <br /> Wo~and Green Park at a cost not-to-exceed $600. <br /> <br />2) That~the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the funding of the two spring riders to be <br /> from Ihe Lawful Gambling Fund. <br /> <br />The motion.~r the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson and upon vote <br />being taken ~ereOn, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> MaY~ Gilbenson <br /> Courj ~a}ilrr~mber Hardin <br /> ' Courl~ilmgnnber Beyer <br /> Couti4iln~,~mber Peterson <br /> CounOilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the follOWing voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> None~ <br /> <br />and the following'abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
