I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission for a <br />public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on June 1, <br />1993 and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes Of <br />said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />That the subject property is located in the R-1 Rural Residential District and is <br />approximately 50 acres in size. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to place a 27-1/2' x 76' portable classroom on the <br />subject property. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the purpose of the temporary' structure is to <br />provide additional classroom space. <br /> <br />That utilization of temporary structures is not a permitted use in any zone in the City <br />of Ramsey. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the temporary structure will be kept on the subject <br />property for approximately two years and in the interim, the School District will <br />assess space needs and possible solutions thereto. <br /> <br />That the adjoining properties to the north; west and on the east side of Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W. are zoned R-1 Residential and the property to the south is zoned B-2 <br />Business. <br /> <br />That the proposed temporary structure will not increase traffic to or from the subject <br />property. ' -- <br /> <br />That the proposed temporary structure will.not be unduly dangerous or detrimental <br />to persons residing or working in the area. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br /> That the proposed temporary structure will not impair the use of surrounding <br />· properties. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />That the proposed temporary structure will be maintained so as to be appropriate in <br />appearance with the character of the general area. <br /> <br />12. That the proposed temporary structure will~ not be hazardous or disturbing to <br /> 'neighboring uses. <br /> <br />13. That the proposed temporary structure will be adequately served by essential public <br /> facilities and services. <br /> <br />The m9tion for the adoption of the foregoing findings of fact was duly seconded by <br />Councilm~mber Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof; <br /> <br />~Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Couneilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br /> <br />
