WHI~REAS, A xesolution authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the above refereflee6 work; and WH~RI~AS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 1993 Street Maintenance Program - Ogeflay (g93-08 and 09), bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and [ WH~RI~AS, the following quotes were received ~ Amount of Bid Bidder W. B., Miller $50,103.00 Bimmj' nous Contracting $51,975.25 Asteeh Corp. $53,267.40 Bau¢fly Bros. $54,691.37 AerO. ~sphalt $60,255.45 Buck Blacktop $62,470.53 Vall¢~ Paving $59,858.90 Engineer's Estimate $69,021.00 AND ~EREAS, it appears that W. B. Miller is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW TH~I~E~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSAY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA as follows: 1) That:~e Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contrSet with W. B. Miller in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 1993 Street MaintenanCe Program - Overlay (g93-08 and 09) in the amount of $50,103.00. 2) That.~e City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next t6 lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
