Couneil~ ember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #93-06-116 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A <br />FEA$!BII~ITY STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #93-13 <br />(BITU~I~IIN,OUS SURFACING TO 164TH LANE N.W. BETWEEN <br />NOWTI~IEN BOULEVARD N.W. (COUNTY ROAD #5) WEST OT ITS <br />TERMiNuS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has received a petition for a feasibility study to <br />consider .~he improvement of bituminous surfacing to 164th lane N.W. between Nowthen <br />Boulevard N;W. (County Road #5) west to its terminus; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct <br />percentage of, lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance <br />with the' City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ~RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as <br />follows~ <br /> <br />1) That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of <br /> bituminous surfacing to 164th Lane N.W. between Nowthen Boulevard N.W. <br /> (~ounty Road #5) west to its terminus has been filed with the City Council on June <br /> 22, 1993. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage <br /> ofiaffected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of <br /> Ramscy Code Chapter 4 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) Tliat the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is <br /> instructed to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed <br /> a6.vising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement <br /> ~$ [feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The <br /> Ciiy Engineer shall also comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed <br /> Or[in connection with some other improvement. <br /> <br />3) That the above-mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement <br /> Prbjeet g93-13. <br /> <br />The motion .for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereOf: <br /> <br /> Coun¢ilmember Hardin <br /> C.
