FROM 179TH LANE N.W. TO THE <br />NORTHERN CITY BOUNDARY) <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution authorized the preparation of plans and specifications for the <br />above referenced work; and <br /> wHEREAs, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the bituminous surfacing of Waco <br />Street N.W. arid Waco Drive N.W. from 179th Lane N.W. to the northern City boundary (Project <br />g92-14), bids ~er¢ received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the following quotes were received <br /> Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> W. B..~Miller, Inc. $27,585.00 <br /> ValleY~Paving, Inc. $29,010.00 <br /> Aero Asphalt $29,788.00 <br /> Biturr~noUS Consulting and Contracting, Co. $30,491.40 <br /> DriveWay Design $33,445.00 <br /> <br /> Engineer's Estimate $30,187.00 <br /> <br /> AND WIllgREAS, it appears that W. B. Miller, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA as follows: <br /> <br />1) That t~e Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with W. B. Miller, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the bituminous <br /> surfa¢,ing Of Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W. from 179th Lane N.W. to the <br /> northern City boundary (Project g92-14) in the amount of $27,585.00. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the d¢l~osits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br />next tOrlowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion fOr the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor!Gilbertson <br /> Coun¢~member Hardin <br /> Coun¢~.mernber Beyer <br /> Councilmeraber Peterson <br /> CounC~,flrnember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> <br />
