! I I I I I ! I i I Councilmeml~r P~terson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #93-07-145 I. RESOLUTION~APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT NO. 1 TO W. B. MILLER, 093-08 093-09. INC. FOR I~VIPilOVEMENT PROJECTS AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 11, 1993; and ~ WHER~ EAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to W. B. Millet, Inc. for the construction of Improvement Projects ~q93-08 and ~V)3-09; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski recommends partial payment No.1 to W. B. Miller, Inc. in ~e amount of $47,325.29. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That ~e City Council hereby authorizes partial payment No. 1 to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the constrd~ctiOa of Improvement Projects g93-08 and g93-09 in the amount of $47,325.29 [ 2) That ~ City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release formf0r~ fids partial payment. 3) Th.a! _flJg to ~tal amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bflls~for ;the month of July 1993. 4) That th~ city of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmermanarid. upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor ~flbertson Coun¢i.~metnber Peterson Councilmember Zimmerman CounC ;ftmeinber Beyer and the following voted agmnst the same: None and the follow~g abstained: None ~ and the follow~g Were absent: Counci~rnelnber Hardin whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day O~ JuIy, 1993.
