Mayor Gil~n~introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-07-152 <br />RES OLU~IO~I APPROVING MINNESOTA BOWHUNTERS, INC. <br />APPLICAT!O!~ FOR PREMISE PERMITS FOR CHARITABLE GAMBLING <br />(RAFFLE)i 3,T THE ARMSTRONG KENNELS GAME FAIR IN RAMSEY <br /> wH~E~S, Minnesota Bowhunters, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling <br />at the Arms~ngKennels Game Fair, 8404 - 161st Avenue N.W., Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WltFaREAS, Minnesota Bowhunters Inc. is a state-wide organization; and <br /> W .~. EAS, Minnesota Bowhunters, Inc. have requested Council waive the 30-day <br />notice <br /> <br /> WHI~REAs, the permit is temporary and is for the following dates: August 13, 14 and <br />15 and Augur" 20, 21 and 22, 1993. Their raffle drawing will be held on August 24, 1993; and <br /> WHI~REAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the ~ity 9f Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br />NOW THI~.~EffORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAM$]I,Y,:iANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That,t~e Ramsey City Council hereby approves the temporary premises permit application <br /> requ~![ f~r Minnesota Bowhunters, Inc. to conduct a raffle at the Armstrong Kennels <br /> G~Fait at 8404 - 161st Avenue N.W., Ramsey. <br />2) That the ~ty Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision <br /> <br />3) That ~he Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the <br /> app ~I~ 'oii and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br />The mofionfpr tile adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman.~ Upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> May~ Cfi!.bertson <br /> Co~ Zimmerman <br /> Corm .6~lrn~mber Beyer <br /> Coun~flra~mber Peterson <br /> <br />and the follo~ingvoted against the same: <br /> <br /> None l <br />and the follov~ing abstained: <br /> Non <br /> <br /> <br />
