I <br /> <br />I$ <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember I'Iardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />APPLICATIOI~IS <br />RAMSEY ~ <br /> <br />APPROVING ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION RENEWAL <br /> FOR PREMISE PERMITS FOR GAMBLING AT TWO SITES IN <br /> <br /> WHERE~S, the Anoka Area Hoc,k_ey Association has applied for renewal of their premise permits for <br />gambling at the f. oll~Wing three sites: LR. s Saloon and Food, 6141 Highway gl0 N.W. and McDuffs Eatery <br />and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard N.W.; and <br /> WHERE~S, the applications for J.R.'s and McDuff's are for pull-tabs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Hockey Association is in compliance with Chapter 7 of the Ramsey City <br />Code and has fil~ reports required by the City of Ramsey in a timely manner; and <br /> WHERE~S,:' the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of <br />Ramsey adopt a ~solUfion specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THER~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the RamSey city Council hereby approves the premises permit renewal application for J.R.'s Saloon <br /> and Foo~:~ 6141 Highway #10 N.W. <br />2) That the ~Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premises permit renewal application for McDuff's <br /> Eatery an~l pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard N.W. <br />3) That theRam~y City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the renewal applications <br /> and any o~her documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for Re adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Peterson and <br />upon vote being t~kerl thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Councilmember Hardin <br /> Counciltneml~er Peterson <br /> Councilm~mb~r Beyer <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> Councilmemb~r Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the followinSabstained: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gilbertson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said r~solution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsay City Council this_t~e 10th day <br /> <br /> <br />
