Councilme~ ~eterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-09-178 <br /> <br />RESOLUTi~ON APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT #93-0345 AND ISSUING A <br />NEGATIV~ !,FINDING FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />WORKSHEET FOR 153RD AVENUE N.W. BLvD.CONNECTION(coUNTyBETWEENRoAD <br />VARIOLIT~ STREET N.W. AND ARMSTRONG N.W. <br />#83) <br /> <br /> W~I~R~AS, the City of Ramsey's cons'dering the construction of the 153rd Avenue <br />N.W. thoroughfare between Variolite Street N.W. and Armstrong Blvd. N.W. (County Road <br />#83); ana <br /> <br /> WH~EAS, the proposed project consists of .69 miles of street construction; and <br /> WHiR#AS, under the rules of the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board <br />Environme ~mAll~ l~view Program, the construction of the new street is, under roles # 4410.4300 <br />Subp. 22 & 8hbpir 27, required to go through a mandatory EAW process; and <br /> WHE.REAS, the 30 day review and comment period for the EAW ended on August 4, <br /> 1993; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed Findings of Fact were presented to the City Councilmembers <br />for their revi~ oll September 14, 1993; and <br /> WHE~IE~S, a copy of the proposed Findings was made available to members of the <br />public on S~gtember 14, 1993 and thereafter a copy has been on file in the office of the City <br />Administrato~ <br />NOW THE~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> C~t~ ~ . <br />1) That ty Council approves the Findings of Fact which conclude that the proposed 153rd <br /> Avenu~ NiW. thoroughfare between Vanolite Street N.W. and Armstrong Blvd. N.W. <br /> (Cotui? R~ad #83) does not have the potential for significant environmental effects. <br />2) That C!,ty _Council authorizes the Mayor to sign the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />3) That C~ty C°uncfl directs City Staff to forward a copy of the Findings of Fact and notice of <br /> decisi0~ on the EAW to the Environmental Quality Board (EQB) for publication in the EQB <br /> Monit~?. <br /> <br />4) That ~y Q, ouncil directs City Staff to forward copies within five (5) working days of the <br /> decisiob o~ the EAW to all persons on the EAW distribution list and to all persons who <br /> commeOted, on the EAW. <br />The motion fo~ th~ adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman an~ U.l~n vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> Mayor ~ill~rtson <br /> <br /> Counefl~n[ ember Hardin <br /> <br /> <br />
