Councilmem ~l~-r Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION ~)3-09'179 <br /> <br />RESOLUT_~ )l~.~ AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING <br />SERVICE~ AND APPRAISAL SERVICES FOR 153RD/155TH AVENUE <br />N.W.BETW~Ebl VARIOLITE STREET N.W. AND ARMSTRONG BLVD. N.W. <br />(COUNTY i~OAD #83) <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council has directed staff to continue with the preparation of plans <br />and specifica~onslfor the above referenced work; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received proposals for the appraisal services for right-of-way <br />acquisition ~preliminary engineering work; and <br /> WHErE&S, the City Council has issued a negative declaration for an EIS for the EAW <br />prepared fo~e ~xtension of 153rd/155th Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street N.W. and <br />Armstrong Bl~d. ~N.W. (County Road #83); and <br /> wH-E~RE~S, the costs associated with the appraisals and preliminary engineering work <br />axe eligible f0~ rei~nbursement with MSA Funds. <br />NOW THErEfORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That fl~e Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br /> agr~en~ at a not-to-exceed cost of $9,300.00 for preliminary engineering work in the <br /> name/~f tt~e City of Ramsey for the 153rd/155th Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street <br /> N.W. ~nd Armstrong Boulevard N.W. (County Road #83). <br /> <br />2) That ~e Ma/yor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an <br /> agreen~n~at a not-to-exceed cost of $10,000.00 for appraisal services in the name of the <br /> City o,f Ramsey for the 153rd/155th Avenue N.W. between Variolite Street N.W. and <br /> Armstrong Boulevard N.W.
