Councilmem ~r peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION ~93-09-189 <br />RESOLUT~ObI CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />ASSESS!~N~I FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-13 (EXTENSION OF <br />SANITARI~ ,~.,WER ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF CSAH #S (NOWTHEN <br />BLVD. N~W.)!'TO SERVICE THE PIN'S 25-32-25-23-0005 AND 25-32-25-23- <br />0006) i :i <br /> by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the <br /> WHI~RI~As, <br />City Adrnint~ ~_s~rat~. was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improvements for <br />the extensi~ of~Sanitary Sewer along the west side of CSAH #5 (Nowthen Blvd. N.W.) to <br />service the P ~I~!'s 125,.32-25-23-0005 and 25-32-25-23-0006; and <br /> <br /> WH.~E3,S, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br />assessment ~ b~n completed and fried in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW TH~I~E~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAM~Y, :iANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That fi pablic hearing shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br /> Mtud~ip~[Center, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br /> per~9 o~n'mg property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be <br /> heard ~iffi reference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) That ~e Laity Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> prop0 ~liexl .assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br /> prior~ ~ hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He <br /> shall.;atso~$ause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> assea~en~ roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br />3) That ~e owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> asse~ .l~.aert} by the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br /> inten~,ac~.ru, ed to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if <br /> the e0~ffe jissessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The <br /> ownei'[ma~t at any time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment <br /> remalt~ng~npaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment <br /> is madg.
