Councahn introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> i'i RESOLUTION #93-09-191 <br /> · RESOLUTjl[O~ CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br /> ASSESS~FOR~ ~ IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 892-19 (EXTENSION OF CITY <br /> WATER_$ _O.f _S_ZWER TO A POINT OV ORIGIN 4O0 VEET EAST <br /> EASTER~-~E'CTION LINE OF SECTION 23 ALONG 149TH LANE N.W. TO <br /> <br /> I WH~S, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the <br /> City Admin!/_ .~'at~ Was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement <br /> of the exten~ii~t ~ City water and sewer to a point of origin 400 feet east of the eastern section line <br /> m~ of Section 23 ~lo~g 149th Lane N.W. to its cul-de-sac terminus (Project ~)2-19); and <br /> WH~kS, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br /> ! <br /> assessment l~s b~en completed and fried in his office for public inspection. <br /> - . so wo <br /> OF RAMS~Y, !ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> Mu~ipal; Center, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br />I pers~ o~ning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be <br /> heard '~vifli~ reference to such assessment. <br />IO 2) That ~e OJty Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> proI~./lied ~issessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br /> priori~ ~ hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He <br /> shall;~sor~cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> I <br /> hearings. <br /> <br /> 3) That'~e .Owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> ass~ by the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br /> int~ a~a-ued to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if <br /> the e4)~r~iSs~essment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment.
