RESOLUTION #93-09-192 <br /> . I <br />RESOLUT~O~ CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />ASSESSM~N'~ FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-21 (BITUMINOUS <br />SURFACII~I~ OF SERVICE ROAD ADJACENT TO TOM THUMB MARKET AT <br />14911 RAMSW~' BLVD. N.W.) <br /> WH.~R_~ : <br /> E~S, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the <br />City Adminis~trat~..~ was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement <br />of bitumino~ s _.t~, acing of the service road adjacent to Tom Thumb Market at 14911 Ramsey <br />Blvd. 2-21); and <br /> <br /> WHIg REAs, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br />assessment I~? b~,n completed and fried in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THi~ItEgORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAM~iY, iANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That~. p r.~lic hearing shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br /> Mun~ip~iCenter, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br /> pers0t s o~vning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be <br /> heard vi~'reference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) Thatg te (~ity Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> pro~. ed jassessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br /> priori! ) tl~ hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He <br /> shall~ lso ~aUse mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> asseSS nent roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) That t~e owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> asses~ ne~ by the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br /> intereS I ~ed to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if <br /> the on, jreiassessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The <br /> ownm ma~ at any time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment <br /> remai~ ing~npaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment <br /> is ma~ e. :~uch payment must be made before November 15 or interest will be charged <br /> throu! a D~cember 31 of the succeeding year. <br /> <br />The motion fgr ~e adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer upon VO:te .~ing taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> MayO/~Gil~rtson <br /> Co~ ~mber Peterson <br /> Co~ber Beyer <br /> Counc~lm ?~ber Hardin <br /> <br />and the folloW~ng Voted against thc <br /> SRIT~.' <br /> <br /> Nofl~ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
