Councilmeni[~ ~tel~n introduc~ the following resolution and moved for its adoption: r~ RESOLUTION 893-09-193 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMRNT~FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ~93-01 (SEALCOATING AND CRACKFI~I~G IMPROVEMENT TO CROWS UNPLATTED ADDITION) WHF~REAS, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the City Admin~ .~atgr was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement sealcoafing ~ ct~kfflling of Crows Unplatted Addition (Project #93-01); and WH~EAS, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed assessment 1~ b~en completed and fred in his office for public inspection. NOW TH]~.REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF RAMSAY, :"ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows. 1) That ~ pt~blic hearing shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Muni~il~d C.enter. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all perS~,~fi~s property by improvement given an opportunity to o~nlng affected such bc be heard ~i~ reference to such assessment. 2) That ~e City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the prop0led assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks pfior~ ~ hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall.: ~ilso,~cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the asseSs~er/t roll not less than two weeks prior to the heatings. 3) Thatt~e ~0~..net of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the asseS~{aaent by the County Auditor, the whole of the assessment of suchwith pay property, inter~g accrued to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if the ean~re:iassessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The ownS? my at any time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment renufi~..ing~unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is rn~e. ~tuch payment must be made before November 15 or interest will be charged throui~ December 31 of the succeeding year.
