I <br />I <br />! <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> Councilmemb r Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-09-195 <br /> <br />RESOLUT!~DNi CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />ASSESSM~i~IT }~OR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #93-03 (SEALCOATING AND <br />CRACKFILI/~IN~G IMPROVEMENT TO OAKRIDGE ESTATES ADDITION) <br /> T <br /> WHEI~EAS, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the <br />City AdminiS~at~ was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement <br />sealcoating and cr~ckfilling of Oakridge Estates Addition (Project g93-03); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br />assessment hag be*n completed and fLled in his office for public inspection. <br /> [ , <br />NOW THE~. FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE~Y, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That a[public hearing shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br /> Munie!paliCenter, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br /> persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be <br /> heard~ith~eference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) That th~ City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> prop0s[ed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br /> prior.t~ tho hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He <br /> shall a~so gause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> assesa~en~ roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) That fl~e owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assesagaentlby the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br /> inter~ ac0rUed to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if <br /> the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The <br /> owner [ma~ at any time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment <br /> remain,lng .~npaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment <br /> is made. Such payment must be made before November 15 or interest will be charged <br /> througl~ D6cember 31 of the succeeding year. <br /> <br />The motion fqr tile adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upOgt vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor ~3il~rtson <br /> Coun¢am ~.e~nber Peterson <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> CounC[hnernber Hardin <br /> Counei!me/nber Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None ' <br /> <br />and the follow~g Were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
