I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> Councilmembw l~ terson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> i RESOLUTION g93-09-196 <br /> RESOLU~J~ON CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />ASSESSMgl~IT~iFOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT //93-04 (SEALCOATING AND <br />CRACKFI~.rLIN~G~r" IMPROVEMENT TO HIGH POINT ADDITION) <br /> WHIiI~E~S, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the <br />City Administiratdr was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement <br />sealcoating aia~t cri/ckf'flling of High Point Addition (Project g03-04); and <br /> WHig~E~S, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br />assessment ha~ bo.~n completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br />NOW THE. I~E ~F~)~. RE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMS~, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> [ <br />1) That:~pu.blic hearing shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey <br /> Munic!pallCenter, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all <br /> perso.nls owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be <br /> heard ~ ~ithireference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) That tte C/.'ty Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> propo~ ~d ~assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br /> prior t, i th~ hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He <br /> shall :also 9ause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> assess~ ~ent roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br /> , <br />3) That ~Oe o'~Vner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assesa~en~ by the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br /> interaS~ ac~'ued to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if <br /> the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The <br /> owne~na~ at any time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment <br /> rem ~at~_ ng ~npald, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment <br /> is madJg.
