Councilmemb <br /> <br />RESOLUTI <br />ASSESSMI~] <br />CRACKFI~ <br />ADDITIO~i <br /> <br />x Fe~ terson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-09-198 <br />DI~i CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />~Tii,FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g93-06 (SEALCOATING AND <br />;II~G IMPROVEMENT TO PINEVIEW ESTATES 1ST AND 2ND <br /> <br /> WHE', tE~S, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 14, 1993, the <br />City Adminil~l :at~ was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the improvement <br />sealcoating ala I e~ckfilling of Pineview Estates 1st and 2nd Additions (Project g93-06); and <br /> WHErEAs, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br /> v <br /> <br />assessment h~ bekn completed and fried in his office for public inspection. <br />NOW THEI~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE~,--~ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> ? <br /> That ~. y_pu'-lic hearing shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7'00 p m at the Ramsey <br />1) <br /> Munii:~lpa~3Center, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such ume and place all <br /> perS°i~ o~ning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be <br /> heard ~vi~reference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) That ~e City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br /> prop0~d a. ssessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br /> prior:t~ th~ hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He <br /> shall ~so ~ause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br /> assesa~aent, roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) That ti e OWner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assesa~ aen~ by the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br /> inter~ ac0rued to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged if <br /> the col [re assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The <br /> ownor mai, at any time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of thc assessment <br /> remaiz ng i~npaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment <br /> is mad .~. ~uch payment must be made before November 15 or interest will be charged <br /> throug'. Dtcember 31 of the succeeding year. <br /> <br />The motion f( ~: t!!~ adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upton vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor ~ilbertson <br /> Coun~, lm~rnber Peterson <br /> Coun~ ~tmetnber Beyer <br /> Counel :lmegaber Hardin <br /> Coun~ Lmernber Zimmerman <br />and the following Voted against the same: <br /> None ! <br /> <br /> <br />
