FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #93-09 (OVERLAYING IMPROVE~EI~~T: TO BROOKVIEW ESTATES, WHITE PINE ESTATES AND MEADOWB~OpK ADDITIONS) WHE*E~S, by a resolution passed by ~e City Council on September 14, 1993, the City Ad~ni~at~ was ~ected to prep~e a propos~ assessment of the cost of the overlaying improveme~t~to ~';overlaying improvement to Brookview Estates, White Pine Estates and Meadowbr~A~fions (~oject ~3-~); ~d WH~E~S, ~e City A~inis~ator has notified ~e City Council that such proposed assessment ~ b~n complet~ ~d ~ in his office for public inspection. NOW THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSE~,'~ ~:ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That ~pu~lic he~ng shall be held on October 12, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Mun{e~Center, to pass upon such propos~ assessment ~d at such time and place all per~$ o~Mg property ~fect~ by such improvement will be ~ven = opportunity to be he~d~,i~reference to such assessment. 2) ~at ~ ~W Ad~nis~tor is hereby ~ec~ ~ cause a notice of ~e pubic he~g on the propo~d assessment to be published once in ~e officiM newspaper at least two weeks prior i~ the~ he~ng, ~d he shall state in ~e notice ~e totM cost of the improvement. He shall ~so ~ause mailed notice to be given to ~e owner of each p~cel described in the assess~entroH: :~ not less ~ two weeks prior to the he~gs. 3) That ~e owner of ~y property so assess~ may, at ~y time prior to certification of the asses~en~ by the County Au&tor, pay ~e whole of ~e assessment of such property, wi~ ~ ~ to ~e ~ of payment to ~e Ciw, except ~at no interest sh~ be ch~ged if the eo~re lssessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The owner ~a~ at any time, there~ter, pay to the City the entke mount of the assessment re~ngOnpaid, Mth interest acm~ to D~ember 31 of ~e ye~ ~ which such pa~ent is m~. Such payment must be made before November 15 or interest will be charged ~ug~ ~ember 31 of ~e sucee~ng ye~.
