Councilmet~ ~beriPoterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION g93-10-222 <br /> <br /> RESOLuT[O~ ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g92- <br /> 11 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATER AND STREET <br /> IMPROVlgME~TS IN RAMSEY MEADOWS ADDITION) <br /> 'r <br /> pursuant to proper duly given as required by law, Ramsey City <br /> wHI~RI~AS, <br /> notice <br /> the <br />Council hula,met, and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />extension o~ ~ani~ sewer, water and street improvements in the Ramsey Meadows Addition. <br /> <br />OF RAMS,ET,! ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows. <br /> <br />1) That ~e proposed assessment: <br /> R24-3~-25-~3-0018 Gilbert A. Menkveld P.O. Box 547, Anoka $13,518.60 <br /> <br /> is here~by ~cepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the land named above, <br /> and e~h Ii'act of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement <br /> in the ~maunt of the assessment levied against it. <br />2) That s~lehlassessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> five y~ars,ithe fu'st of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1994 and shall <br /> bear i~tergst at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assess~nen~t resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> assesa~en'[ from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1994. To each subsequent <br /> installment, when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br />3) That ~e owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assess~ue~t to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> prope~.y, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> except ltha[ no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the ad~pti~,n of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Finane.~ Department the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> accrue_ to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made.
