Councilmem~er peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />le ! , <br /> <br /> 17 (SANITARY SEWER, WATER, STORM SEWER EXTENSION AND STREET <br />I IMPROVEI~IEI~TS IN SUNNY PONDS ADDITION) <br /> WHI~RI~AS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br /> Council has ~e~and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />I following san~ tary sewer, water, storm sewer extension and street improvements: <br /> a) SUnny Ponds Addition <br />I NOW THEI~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMS~Y,',ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> i 1) That: sjach~proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is hereby_accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> therei0, md each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> I in the of the levied it. <br /> improvement <br /> amount <br /> assessment <br /> against <br /> <br /> 2) That shch 'assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of ten <br />I years:[therftrst of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1994 and shall <br /> bear ibter~est at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assessment resolution. To each subsequent <br /> installCent, when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> 3) That. ~e Owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />I asseSs~efirt to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> propegy, With interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> except, th~ no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br />I the ad~pfron of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Finan® 12~,_partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> accnleg ta December 31 of the year in which such payment is made.
