I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />lO <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmemler Peterson~ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-10-224 <br />RESOLUT!0NiADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT g93- <br />10 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATER AND STREET <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN RIVER'S BEND THIRD ADDITION) <br /> WHE~IEAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council has ~et ~nd heard and passed upon all objections to the ,p_roposed assessment for the <br />extension of a~itary sewer, water and street improvcmcnts for River s Bend Third Addition. <br />NOW TI-IEREF~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TItE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMS ~F_JY, ~ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That t~e proposed assessment: <br /> <br />25-32-2,~-34i0003 <br />25-32-2~-43~0042 <br />25-32-2~4~0033 <br /> <br />Ramsey Center Prtnrshp <br />Ramsey Center Prtnrshp <br />Ramsey Center Prtnrshp <br /> <br />715 1/2 East Lake St. Mpls. $ 9,399 <br />715 1/2 East Lake St. Mpls. $127,939 <br />715 1/2 East Lake St. Mpls. $ 34,463 <br /> <br /> is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the land named above, <br /> and ea4:h t~act of Iand therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the improvement <br /> in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) That sach assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> five years, the first of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1994 and shall <br /> bear i]lterCst at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assess~ aent resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> assesst ~ent from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1994. To each subsequent <br /> installt lent, when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) That the owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> assessraent to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> propen ?, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> except hat:no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from <br /> the adc ~tion of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Financ~ D{partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> accrued to lSecember 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br /> be made before November 12, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> succeeding year. <br /> <br />4) That a Certified duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Office to be extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> collected arid paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br />The motion 0t~ the. adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Beyer and upo~ vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gilbertson <br /> Couneilmember Peterson <br /> Counei[member Beyer <br /> Coun¢itjnember Hardin <br /> Counciltnember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> <br />
