I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />,I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I$ <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmem' <br /> <br />Jer ~terson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION 09;3-10-233 <br /> <br />RESOLU Ni ADOPTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #93- <br />01 (CRA~ ~'ILLING AND SEALCOATING IMPROVEMENT OF CROWS <br />UNPLAT ~ ~-D ,aDDITION) <br /> <br />The motion ot <br />and upon vote <br /> <br /> May°r <br /> Counai <br /> CounOi <br /> Council <br /> Coun~ <br /> <br /> WH,]~ltFAkS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Ramsey City <br />Council ha~ Inet Snd heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />following ~k filling and sealeoating improvement: <br /> a) CrOws Unplatted Addition <br /> NOW THI~![E~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OV T}IE CITY <br /> OF RAM$I~Y, iANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That ~ tch !proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br /> is he~ by,~ccepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br /> thereii , al~.d each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the <br /> impr0, em~.~ nt in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />2) That is tcl~assessment shall be payable in annual installments extending over a period of <br /> three:2 ear~, the fa'st of the installments to be payable with the first tax rolls of 1994 and <br /> shalt~t -~ar!interest at the rate of 8.0 percent annum from the date of the adoption of this <br /> assesz he,it resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire <br /> assess~ ae~ from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1994. To each subsequent <br /> installi)eng when due, shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />3) That: ,~e ot~ner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br /> asses~lnen~ to the Anoka County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br /> prop~ ', .~,'ith interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Department, <br /> excel! la, mo interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days fi.om <br /> the ~li~ ~ti~n of this resolution. The owner may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City <br /> Fina~ D~_partment the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest <br /> acCra~ to[December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. Such payment must <br /> be m~ e ~fOre November 12, or interest will be charged through December 31 of the <br /> succe ~nl~year. <br /> <br />4) That a ~er~fied duplicate of this assessment be transmitted to the Anoka County Auditor's <br /> Offie~ to ~ extended on the property tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be <br /> collee~ ~1 ahd paid in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br /> <br /> ith~adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson <br /> berg taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Silbertson <br /> £ <br />member Peterson <br />meinber Beyer <br />member Hardin <br />member Zimmerman <br /> <br /> <br />
