RESOLU~~O-~ APPROVING CLIMB THEATRE, INC. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISEi PI~RMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT <br />SALOONI~N0 FOOD IN RAMSEY (PADDLEWHEEL) J.R.'S <br /> <br /> WHeReAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at <br />J.R.'s Saloo~ ~ Food, 6141 Highway gl0 N.W., Ramsey; and <br /> WH~RI~AS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. is a theatre company from St. Paul, Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; a~[d <br /> WHI~ RI~AS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires <br />the City of [R~n,y adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br />NOW THF~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />OF RAMSAYi- ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: CITY <br />1) That ~he Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for CLIMB <br /> Then.lie, ilnc. to operate paddlewheels at J.R.'s Saloon and Food, 6141 Highway gl0 <br /> N.WI~ Ramsey. <br />2) That !he Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br />3) That ithe Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the <br /> appli~afi0n and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br />The motion ~or ~ae adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded Councilmember <br />Beyer and t/p~n Vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: by <br /> Mayor 13~be~son <br /> Counci~mber Hardin <br /> Council~m_[~ Beyer <br /> Councilr~m[~ Peterson <br /> Councilm~ ml~ Zimmerman <br />and the foll0~ingvoted against the same: <br /> None <br /> <br />and the foll°X~ing abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the foiler!ring!were absent: <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
