I Councilmera~r Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #93-11-270 RESOLU~I~)N~ APPROVING CLASSIFICATION AND REQUESTING THAT ANOKA ~0U~TY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS PLACE FOR PUBLIC SALE I THE FOL.I4OW!NG TAX FORFEITED PROPERTIES: P.I.N. 27-32-25-33-0011, P.I.N. 2~-~2.~5-13-0001, P.I.N. 23-32-25-43-0002 AND CONVEY THE FOLLOW~G ~PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF RAMSEY FOR PUBLIC USE: P.I.N. 28~-$5-44-0002 WH ~RI~AS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution providing au~or[ty under Chapter 282 of Minnesota Statutes for public sale of land situated in I Anoka Count}~ wliich is forfeited to the State of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes; and wHEREAs, the classification and sale of tax forfeit land lying within the bounds of any I organized to.vJ~ with a taxable value in excess of $20,000 of an incorporated municipality must be approved by tle COuncil of each City insofar as lands located therein are concerned; and WHE~IEAS, the town board or governing body will be deemed to have approved I classificatiorl t~aleif the County Board is not notified of the disapproval of the classification sale within ninetY~(90~ days of the date requested for approval as transmitted to the town board or governing body; and I WHEREAS, if the town board or governing body desires to acquire any parcel lying in the town or ni~unieipality by procedures authorized in Section 282.01, it shall within ninety (90) lO withholddays of thetherSglu~tedp~c~l fromClassificati°npublic sale forandoneSale'year.file a written application to the County Board to NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY I OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That th~ City of Ramsey hereby approves and recommends for public sale the following I properties: P.I.N. 27-32-25-33-0011, P.I.N. 29-32-25-13-0001, P.I.N. 23-32-25-43- 0002.I 2) That A iok County attempt to sell the property known as P I N 23-32-25-43-0002 the !J o . o tO I owner ~ P.~.N. 23-32-25-43-0001 as it is an unbuildable lot. 3) That Ar~ ka~ County withhold from public sale the properties known as P.I.N. 28-32-25-44- I 0002 for use as open space and drainage. 4) That a c~rtified copy of this resolution be forwarded to Anoka County.
