Councilmem~r 3immerman introduced the following resolution and moved for it adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #93-12-287 <br /> <br />RESOLUTI~Ni ADOPTING 1994 PARK DEDICATION CASH CONTRIBUTION <br />FEES r~ <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council recognizes that is is essential to the health, safety <br />and welfare ~f the residents to protect, conserve and enhance Ramsey's natural and recreational <br />resources; and ~ <br /> <br /> WHERE ~As, cash may be required in lieu of land and said cash contribution should be <br />commensuratd wi:~ land values and remain competitive; and <br /> <br /> WHE~RE~S, Section 9.50.37, Subd. 6 of the Ramsey City Code states that park <br />dedication fee~; stdt~ 11 be set by City Council resolution. <br />NOW THE!~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSE[Y, ~NOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Cash contribution per dwelling unit, effective January 1, 1994, shall be in <br /> accord~nc~ with the following schedule: <br /> <br /> ~ Less than 1 unit per 3.3 acres $450.00/dwelling unit <br /> : All other dwelling units $700.00/dwelling unit <br /> <br />2) That tl~e cash contribution per acre for commercial properties, effective January 1, 1994, <br /> shall b~ in ',accordance with the following: <br /> <br /> Comm~reial Properties with city sewer & water 5% of FMV or minimum $1,500/acre <br /> Comm~. rcial Properties without city sewer & water 5% of FMV or minimum $1,000/acre <br /> <br />3) That We cash contribution per acre for industrial properties, effective January 1, 1994, shall <br /> be in a~co~ance with the following: <br /> <br /> Indus~al ~operties with city sewer & water 5% of FMV or minimum $1,050/acre <br /> Indu~'al Properties without city sewer & water 5% of FMV or minimum $ 750/acre <br />The motion f4r ad, option of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Beyer and upon vote <br />being taken thqreon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> Counc~lmember Zimmerman <br /> Counc~lm .ember Beyer <br /> Councllme~nber Hardin <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following Voted against the same: <br /> Mayor!Gilbertson <br /> <br /> <br />
