a) That the revocation proceedings are not the result of a large public outcry regarding its <br /> operation but rather the result of two neighboring business owners that do not desire to <br /> see its operation grow and expand. <br /> b) That with the City exercising some tolerance of conditions during this interim growth <br /> period, all affected parties (Permit Holder, City, neighboring business owners) will <br /> benefit from the continuance of the CUP and the eventual construction of the required <br /> building to house the operations on the Site. <br /> c) That since the acquisition of Lots 1,2, 3 and 4,more that$100,000.00 has been invested <br /> in improvements to the building on Lot 1, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat <br /> 42 and Site. <br /> d) That in the past, the Permit Holder has demonstrated a desire to become an active <br /> member of the community. <br /> 14) That the City received a letter from Samuel Brady, newly hired Plant Manager for the <br /> Permit Holder, which is incorporated herein by reference, dated January 5, 1994, in which <br /> he makes the following statements: <br /> a) That part of the problem is due to the Permit Holder outgrowing the ability to be <br /> managed by one person and the Permit Holder has taken action to remody that situation <br /> by the creation of a plant manager position. <br /> b) That additional building space is critical to the orderly growth and future of Danny's <br /> Tranny's and that the Permit Holder fully intends to construct a building in the Spring <br /> of 1994. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Hardin, and upon vote betaken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Gilbertson <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Councilmember Hardin <br /> Councilmember Beyer <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> None <br /> Resolution #94-01-013 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br />
