a) That the revocation proceedings are not the result of a large public outcry regarding its operation but rather the result of two neighboring business owners that do not desire to see its operation grow and expand. b) That with the City exercising some tolerance of conditions during this interim growth period, all affected parties (Permit Holder, City, neighboring business owners) will benefit from the continuance of the CUP and the eventual construction of the required building to house the operations on the Site. c) That since the acquisition of Lots 1,2, 3 and 4,more that$100,000.00 has been invested in improvements to the building on Lot 1, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 42 and Site. d) That in the past, the Permit Holder has demonstrated a desire to become an active member of the community. 14) That the City received a letter from Samuel Brady, newly hired Plant Manager for the Permit Holder, which is incorporated herein by reference, dated January 5, 1994, in which he makes the following statements: a) That part of the problem is due to the Permit Holder outgrowing the ability to be managed by one person and the Permit Holder has taken action to remody that situation by the creation of a plant manager position. b) That additional building space is critical to the orderly growth and future of Danny's Tranny's and that the Permit Holder fully intends to construct a building in the Spring of 1994. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin, and upon vote betaken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Beyer Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None Resolution #94-01-013 Page 3 of 4
