Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION g94-02-034 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING <br />ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT /0)4-12 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY SPORTS <br />HAVEN/CAROL ROSE ADDITIONS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer was directed by Council, at their meeting of December <br />14, 1993, to prepare a feasibility study for the 1994 Street Maintenance Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 22, <br />1994, which indicates the following: <br /> <br />Estimated total cost of project <br /> <br />$43,095 <br /> <br />NOW <br />CITY <br /> <br />Estimated total assessment $21,548 <br />Estimated assessment per unit <br />ten (10) year term $ 526 <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />OF~ RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of sealeoafing of such <br />streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a <br />portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and <br />the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $43,095. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 22nd day of <br />March 1994, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m. and <br />the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion:for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
