Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION g94-04-071 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID HIGHWAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which provides for <br />a system of arterial and collector thoroughfare; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has established a Municipal State Aid Street System <br />(MSAS) under Chapter 162 of the State Statutes which promotes the construction and maintenance <br />of such an arterial and collector system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Ramsey to modify the designated <br />MSAS top conform to its changing transportation needs. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following MSAS segment be added to the system: <br /> <br />A segment connecting Highway #10 at its intersection with Traprock Street <br />N.W., northward a distance of 0.42 miles to intersect with non-existent <br />segment 104. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified <br />copies, of this resolution to the Commission of Transportation for consideration and, that <br />upon approval of the revisions of said road or portion thereof, that same be constructed, <br />improvement and maintained as a pan of the MSAS of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Couneilmember Zimmerman <br />Counoilmember Hardin <br />Couneilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Couneilmember Beyer <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 26th day of April, 1994. <br /> <br /> ~.~TTEST:D I <br />,,,,~ty~A3ministtatoF - -t <br /> <br /> <br />
