Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g94-05-089 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF AND SP~ECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (SEALCOATING AND CRACK FILLING OF BARTHEL'S RUM RIVER 2ND ADDITION) PLANS #94-03 ACRES WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted February 22, 1994, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of sealcoating and crack filling Barthel's Rum River Acres 2nd Addition (Project g94-03); and WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public heating; and WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on March 22, 1994, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) Such .improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution adopted February 22, 1994. 2) City Engineer Steven J. Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Beyer and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Couneilmember Beyer Coun¢ilmember Hardin Couneilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey Ci~..Council this the 24th day of May, 1994. .~~~.~ ~
