Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION g94-05-102 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR A HOME OCCUPATION AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Jeffrey and Julie Lorge have properly applied for a conditional use permit <br />for a home OCcupation to establish and operate a one-chair beauty salon within the private dwelling <br />on the property generally known as 17310 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lot 13, Auditors Subdivision #27, excePt road subject to easement of record; Anoka <br />County, Minnesota (Subject Property); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission met on May 3, 1994, conducted the <br />public hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF .RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact g0361, a conditional use permit for a home occupation is hereby <br />granted to Jeffrey and Julie Lorge, hereinafter referred to as "Permit Holder", at 17310 St. <br />FranCis Blvd. N.W. for a one-chair beauty salon operation. <br /> <br />Should the Permit Holder die or move to a new location, the permit shall be automatically <br />terminated, except that in the case of death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at <br />the same address, desire to continue the home occupation, written notice to that effect shall <br />be given to the City Administrator and the City Council may authorize continuation of the <br />permit without further hearing. <br /> <br />The area devoted to the home occupation shall not exceed twenty percent (20%) of the total <br />floor area of the private dwelling. <br /> <br />Adequate water supply and on-site sewage disposal facilities shall be the responsibility of <br />the Permit Holder. <br /> <br />5. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided by the Permit Holder. <br /> <br />6. There shall be no exterior or interior display of business signs. <br /> <br />7. There shall be no exterior indications of the home occupation displayed. <br /> <br />8. There:shall be no exterior storage of business equipment and materials. <br /> <br />EmplOyees of the home occupation shall be restricted to persons residing within the private <br />dwelling on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Merchandise not considered accessory to the use shall not be displayed or offered for sale <br />within the residence. No merchandise shall be displayed or offered for sale outside the <br />residence. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />The Permit Holder shall be responsible for maintaining any applicable State or County <br />licenses. <br /> <br /> <br />
