Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #94-06-124 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RAMSEY LIONS CLUB APPLICATION FOR <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT M & L LIQUORS <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions have applied for a premise permit for gambling (raffles, <br />paddlewheels~ pull-tabs and tip-boards) at M & L Liquors, 5900 - 167th Avenue N.W., Ramsey; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Ordinance 4~t94-05, this site cannot begin operations prior to <br />July 1, 1994; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the Oty of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Ramse, y Lions Club to operate raffles, paddlewheels, pull-tabs and tip-boards at M & L <br />Liquors at 5900 - 167th Avenue N.W. in Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the <br /> application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilm0mber Hardin <br />Councilmamber Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon sai,ti resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the R~amsey Cit7 Counc~il this <br />the 14th day of June, 1994 MY~ .~~~~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
