Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-07-144 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DISALLOWING PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-15 <br />(STREET LIGHT IMPROVEMENT FOR GREEN VALLEY ESTATES 2ND ADDITION) <br /> WHEREAS, on April 12, 1994, the City Council received a petition and ordered a feasibility <br />study to consider the improvement of street lights to Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition (Improvement <br />Project #94-15);~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the required thirty (30) days has elapsed following the public hearing; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given <br />and the hearing Was held thereon on the 24th day of May, 1994, at which time all persons desiring to be <br />heard were given an oppommity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 9, 1994, the City received a petition countering Improvement Project #94- <br />15; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful <br />signatures of af.ff, cted property owners, and to be in accordance with the City Charter and Minnesota <br />Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That the proposed Improvement Project #94-15 (the improvement of street lights to Green Valley <br />Estates 2n.d Addition) is hereby disallowed as proposed in the Council resolution adopted the 12th <br />day of April, 1994. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That proposed Improvement Project #94-15 may not be considered for a period of one year from <br />the 2Ath day of May 1994, as stated in Chapter 8 of the Ramsey City Charter. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman <br />and upon vote bei/~g taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbenson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted )yA~te Ramsey' ~i~ty/~e(_~ncil th. is the 26th <br /> day of July, 1994. <br /> <br /> ,~l~yo~ <br /> _ ATTEST/3 <br /> <br />'""C4~i his t rat-or~- -- <br /> <br /> <br />
