Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-07-145 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY O~N IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-21 (STREET LIGHTING <br />IMPROVEMENT TO PINE COVE ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the <br />improvement of s~:eet lighting to Pine Cove Addition; and <br /> <br /> wHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter axld Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of street <br />lighting to Pine Cove Addition has been filed with the City Council on July 26, 1994. The <br />petition! is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property <br />owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and <br />Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Counciliin a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project #94- <br />21. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Couneilmember Zimmennan <br />Councilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Peterson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
