Councilmeml~ Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-08-159 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, INC. FOR THE~ 1994 STREET PAVING PROGRAM - DIVISIONS A AND B (IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS #93-11 AND #93-12) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project g93-11 on September 14, 1993 and Improvement Project g93-12 on October 26, 1993; and WHEREAS, bid to W. B. Miller, through/t93-13); and the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the Inc. for the 1994 Street Paving Program (Improvement Projects #93-11 WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $29,063.65. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the 1994 Street Paving Program - Divisions A and B (Improvement Projects g93-11 and//93-12) in the amount of $29,063.65. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of August, 1994. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Hardin Counci!member Beyer CounciImember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: None
