Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-08-163 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-22 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY <br />SEWER AI~D iWATER SERVICES ALONG 150TH LANE N.W. FROM THE <br />EASTERN iBOUNDARY OF PONDVALE ESTATES 2ND ADDITION TO A <br />POINT API~.ROXIMATELY 275 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION WITH <br />HELIUM STREET N.W.) <br /> <br /> WHEiREAS, on August 15, 1994, the City received a petition requesting the <br />improvement 9f the extension of sanitary sewer and water services along 150th Lane N.W. from <br />the eastern bo ~Undary of Pondvale Estates 2nd Addition to a point approximately 275 feet west of <br />the intersection with Helium Street N.W.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage <br />of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. <br /> <br />NOW THER~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That a certain petition requesting the improvement of the extension of sanitary sewer and <br />water services along 150th Lane N.W. from the eastern boundary of Pondvale Estates 2nd <br />AdditiOn to a point approximately 275 feet west of the intersection with Helium Street <br />N.W. has been filed with the City Council on August 22, 1994. The petition is hereby <br />declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This <br />declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota <br />Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That thc petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed <br />to preplu'e a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the <br />Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to <br />the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also <br />comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some <br />other improvement. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project g94- <br />22. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hardin and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Counciltnember Peterson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Couneilmember Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
