Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09-175 RESOLUTION 153RD/155TH SERVICES RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR AVENUE N.W. EXTENSION ENGINEERING DESIGN WHEREAS, on July 26, 1994, the City Council received a feasibility report from RLK Associates, Inc concerning the alignment for 153rd/155th Avenue N.W.; and WHEREAS, the City Council accepted Alternative C of the feasibility report and directed the City Engineer to negotiate a contract with RLK Associates, Inc. for design services for the construction of the roadway; and WHEREAS, a proposal dated September 1, 1994 was received from RLK Associates, Inc which included design through construction; and WHEREAS, it is the City's intent to proceed with tasks 1 through 3, which include final design, plans, specifications and estimates; soils investigation; and wetlands delineation and permits for a cost not-to-exceed $50,116.00 plus meeting time, which will be billed separately. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with RLK Associates, Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for design services related to the extension of 153rd/155th Avenue N.W. at a cost not-to-exceed $50,116.00, plus meeting time which will be billed separately. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Councilmember Peterson Councilmember Zimmerman Couneilmember Hardin and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent: Councilmember Beyer whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of September, 1994. tgl~yor
