Councilmembe~ Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-09-212 RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR ROOF REPAIRS Ay 14100 JASPAR STREET N.W. (PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY) WHEREAS, on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at 14100 Jaspar ,~treet N.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved, at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a remodeling b~dget for the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, roofing, electrical, landscaping and paving; and WHEREAS, the City Council, on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committee's budget approval, with not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid law; and WItEREAS, pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, bids were advertised and only the single following bid Was received: Palmer West Construction Co., Inc. $42,300.00 AND WHEREAS, Palmer West Construction Co., Inc. is the lowest bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, A[N[ OKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That th~ City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with PalmerlWest Construction Co., Inc. in the name of the City of Ramsey for the repairs to the roof at '14100 Jaspar Street N.W. in the amount of $42,300.00.
