Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> PROPOSED RESOLUTION #94-10-238 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT TO EXPAND AN OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL FACILITY IN THE <br />INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, KRS Invesments, Inc., has properly applied for a conditional use permit to <br />expand the 6utdoor recreational facility at 14622 Ferret Street N.W. in the Industrial District to <br />include a gol~' driving range on the property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1:, Block 1, HY-10 RAMSEY, Anoka County, Minnesota; and <br /> <br />That Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 29, Township 32, <br />Ran~ 25, lying northeasterly of T.H. gl0 and #169, except road, subject to easement of <br />recofi:t (the "Subject Proeprty"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on October 4, 1994, conducted the public <br />hearing and ~e~commended City Council approval of the request. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact #0369, a conditional use permit to expand an outdoor <br />recreational facility in the Industrial District to include a golf driving range is hereby granted <br />to KRS Investments, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Permit Holder", at 14622 Ferret <br />Streei N.W. <br /> <br />The Permit Holder shall be responsible for providing a sufficient number of paved and <br />curbed employee/customer off-street parking spaces to accommodate all aspects of the <br />recre~itional facility. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The Permit Holder shall be responsible to remedy any complaints from neighboring <br />prop.arty owners regarding stray golf balls within thirty (30) days of notification of said <br />com~aint. The remedy may consist of installing additional netting or an alternative <br />solution acceptable to the City. If netting is deemed to be the appropriate solution but <br />cannot be installed within 30 days, the Permit Holder shall be obligated to supply the City <br />with ~locumentation to support that efforts are being made to install the netting on the <br />property in the most timely manner possible. <br /> <br />The City Administrator, or his designee, shall have the right to inspect the premises for <br />compliance and safety purposes annually or at any time, upon reasonable request. <br /> <br />The Permit Holder shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br />enforcing this conditional use permit. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Peterson and ~pon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Coun¢ilmember Glen Hardin <br />CounCilmember Kenneth Peterson <br /> <br /> <br />
