Councilmember Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION g94-10-240 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W. FOR IMPROYEMENT PROJECTS g93-11 AND g93-13 (1994 PROGRAM - DIVISIONS A AND C) B. MILLER, INC. STREET PAVING WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved Improvement Project g93-11 on Seiptember 14, 1993 and Improvement Project g93-13 on October 12, 1993; and WHi~REAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution, dated July 12, 1994, awarding the bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the 1994 Street Paving Program, Improvemenl Projects g93-11 through g93-13; and WHI~REAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends Partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $15,148.97. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the 1994 Street Paving Program - Divisions A and C, Improvement Projects g93-11 and #93-13, in the amount of $15,148.97. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That t. he total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of October, 1994. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Counoilmember Hardin Coundlmember Beyer Coun¢ilmember Peterson Councalmember Z~mmennan and the following voted against the same: None and the follo'a/ing abstained: None and the following were absent: None
