Councilmemb~r Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #94-10-241 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, INC. <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-17 (THE RAMSEY-ANOKA WATER <br />SYSTEM II~TERCONNECT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on May 24, <br />1994; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the <br />bid to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the Ramsey-Anoka Water System Interconnect, Improvement Project <br />//94-17; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends p'rartial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $3,800.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1¸) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the <br />Ramsoy-Anoka Water System Interconnect, Improvement Project g94-17, in the amount of <br />$3,800.00. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby accepts the completed work and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Admiriistrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in resolutions approving <br />paymej~t of bills for the month of October, 1994. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> MayorGilbertson <br /> Councilmember Hardin <br /> Councllmember Beyer <br /> Councllmember Peterson <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
