Councilmem~r Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-10-242 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO W. B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #92-14 (GRADING AND BITUMINOUS SURFACING OF WACO STREET N.W. AND WACO DRIVE N.W. FROM 179TH LANE N.W. TO THE NORTHERN CITY BOUNDARY) wHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on July 13, 1993; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted a resolution awarding the bid to W. B. 19liller, Inc. for the grading and bituminous surfacing of Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W. fr~om 179th Lane N.W. to the northern city boundary, Improvement Project g92-14; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected payment to W~. B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $1,467.87. and recommends final NOW THEI~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to W. B. Miller, Inc. for the grading and bituminous surfacing of Waco Street N.W. and Waco Drive N.W. from 179th Lane N.W. to the northern city boundary, Improvement Project #92-14, in the amount of $1,467.87. 2) That tine City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Adm~istrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That tile total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of October, 1994. 4) That tile City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson and upon vote~being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gilbertson Counctilmember Hardin Councilmember Beyer Councflmember Peterson Counctlmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
