Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #94-11-249 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DISALLOWING PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #94-22 (THE <br />EXTENSION iOF SANITARY SEWER, STORM SEWER, WATERMAIN, AND STREET <br />RESTORATION TO SERVICE THE EASTERN 700 FEET OF 150TH LANE N.W. IN <br />PONDVALE ESTATES 2ND ADDITION) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 22, 1994, the City Council received a petition and ordered a feasibility <br />study to consider the improvement of the extension of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, and street <br />restoration to service the eastem 700 feet of 150th Lane N.W. in Pondvale Estates 2nd Addition <br />(Improvement Projection ~)4-22); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an informational meeting was held on October 5, 1994 at which neighborhood <br />residents expressed strong opposition to the project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at said informational meeting the original project petitioners verbally agreed to <br />withdraw their petition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the public hearing was <br />given, and the public hearing was held on October 25, 1994. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the proposed Improvement Project #94-22 (the improvement of the extension of sanitary <br />sewer, storm sewer, watermain, and street restoration to service the eastern 700 feet of 150th <br />Lane N.~W. in Pondvale Estates 2nd Addition) is hereby disallowed as proposed in the Council <br />resolution adopted the 22nd day of August, 1994. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That proposed Improvement Project #94-22 may not be considered for a period of one year from <br />the 25th :day of October, 1994, as stated in Chapter 8 of the Ramsey City Charter. <br /> <br />The motion for rthe adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Oilbertson <br /> Councilmember Peterson <br /> Council~ember Hardin <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />· ,~~d~~inistrator - <br /> <br /> <br />
