Councilmem~r Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-11-255 RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING INTERIOR:PAINTING AT 14100 JASPAR STREET N.W. FACILITY)' CONTRACT FOR (PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, on August 31, 1994, the City of Ramsey purchased the property located at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W. for the purpose of a public works facility; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved at their September 12, 1994 meeting, a remodeling bridget for the cement structure located on the site, for doors, HVAC/air exchange, roofing, electrical, landscaping and paving; and WHEREAS, the City Council on September 12, 1994, ratified the Finance Committees budget approval, with not-to-exceed amounts, to be done pursuant to the Minnesota bid law; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Minnesota bid law, written quotes were obtained for interior painting; and: WHEREAS, the following written quotes were received for the interior painting: Morales Interior Remodeling Painting Specialists Professional Touch $ 6,900.00 $ 7,000.00 $14,607.00 AND tWHEREAS, Morales Interior Remodeling is the lowest bidder for the interior painting. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Morales Interior Remodeling in the name of the City of Ramsey for interior painting at 14100 Jaspar Street N.W.in the amount of $6,900.00. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: MayorGilbertson Councilmember Hardin Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None
