Councilmem~r Hardin introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #94-11-258 RESOLUTI~ON AUTHORIZING A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE CONSTRUtgTION OF A PROPERTY STORAGE FACILITY IN THE METAL PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING AT 14100 JASPAR STREET N.W. WHEREAS, is necessary to provide a secure storage area for the confinement of stolen and confiseateJd property; and WHEREAS, the space available at the Ramsey Municipal Center is at its maximum capacity and hhs overflown into the vehicle winter storage area; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide indoor storage for at least one squad; and WHEREAS, at the Council's Finance Committee meeting of November 22, 1994, staff presented a rl~quest for the construction of a property storage facility in the metal public works building loeatb, d at 14100 Jaspar Street; and wHEREAS, the funding in an amount not-to-exceed $1,000.00 is available through budget reallo~ations from account #43439-2220 to #45520-2211 in the Adopted 1994 General Fund Budget; and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee approved this recommendation and hereby recommends ihat the Ramsey City Council authorize the construction and funding sources as detailed withiri this resolution. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSES, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the construction of a property storage facility in the metal public works building at a cost not-m-exceed $1,000.00. 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the budget reallocation of funds in the Adopted 1994 General Fund Budget as detailed in this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Gilbertson and upon votebeing taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor~ Gilbertson Counetlmember Hardin Councllmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same: None and the following were absent: None
