(c) Community relations activities including information on <br />tree plantings, seedling distributions, and Arbor Day <br />observations; and <br /> <br />(d) Any enforcement of City ordinances relating to the <br />City's tree planting program. <br /> <br /> Native Species - Any species of plant considered to be indigenous to the <br />Anoka County sand plain. <br /> <br />On-Site - Any location within the boundaries of a site. <br /> <br /> Opacity - The degree to which a structure, use or view is screened from <br />adjacent properties. <br /> <br /> Park - Shall include any city public spaces designated for recreation <br />and/or conservation. <br /> <br />Person - An individual or firm, association, partnership, and corporation. <br /> <br /> Pest - Any injurious plant, animal, disease, insect or other organism that <br />harms trees or other woody vegetation or humans. <br /> <br /> Planting - Vegetative installations and related improvements, retained or <br />introduced for the purpose of beautifying or enhancing property, buffering adjoining <br />uses, control soil erosion, etc. <br /> <br />Property Line - The boundary between two distinct properties. <br /> <br /> Property Owner - The person owning such property as shown by the <br />County Auditor's Plat of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> Pruning - The judicious removal of plant parts to increase usefulness, <br />beauty, or vigor. <br /> <br /> Pruning Standard - The standard(s) established by the International <br />Society of Arboriculture for use in the priming of plant material located on public <br />property. <br /> <br /> Public Area - Property within the city limits of the City of Ramsey and <br />(1) owned by the city in fee simple absolute, or (2) implied or expressly dedicated to the <br />public for present or future use for purposes of vehicular or pedestrian traffic, or for <br />public easements. <br /> <br /> Public Tree - Al1 trees now, or hereafter, growing along any street, in any <br />park, or any other public place. <br /> <br />130 <br /> <br /> <br />
