Jean Pierre & Thanh-Binh Ngo
6000 151't Lane NW
Ramsey, MN 55303

January 30, 2006

To: The Ramsey Planning Commission
Public Hearing Meeting on February 02, 2006

Subject: The 59 townhomes called the Oaks

We are in opposition to the development of 9 acres and 59 townhomes called The Oaks
for several reasons:

The proposed change would be totally unfair to us and all the people who live in this
neighborhood as we were looking for a single-unit home zone before we moved in. We
feel that the change fiom low density to medium density for the property located at 151st
Lane NW and Nowthen Boulevard would not fit with this neighborhood, as this change
would take away all the qualities that we have right now with single-homes.

Furthermore, you know that there are several kids who get to walk fi:om their homes to
the bus stops daily. If this project were approved, there would be almost 120 more cars
or/and trucks using the same road. We feel that it would be unsafe for these kids to walk
or bike with such traffic.

Writing this letter to the commission, we hope that our voice will be heard. Your
decision is very important to us and our neighborhood, as k will affect our safety and our
lives financially and mentally.

Respectively yours,

Jean Pierre & Thanh-Binh Ngo

60
